New day...endless possibilities
After being in this school for only one year, I am so pleased with the progress that both of my children are making. Class teachers are fantastic and always approachable no matter how busy they are, and I must say Mrs Pepper is FANTASTIC! I love attending the assemblies and school activities because of how enthusiastic she and all the teachers are! Keep up the good work.
My child is very happy at St Botolph’s and enjoys coming to school each day, his progress has been magnificent and we are so proud of all he has achieved…. All in all we are extremely happy with this wonderful school!
St Botolph’s is a wonderful school. All of the teachers and TA’s that my children have had have been highly supportive and professional. From the moment my children enter school campus they are greeted with a smile.
Behaviour
We think St. Botolph’s is a great school. The behaviour of our children is excellent.
We want everyone to be treated with respect.
We want children to be able to work hard and learn without interruptions.
We want everyone to feel safe and secure both in the classroom and the playground.
How we teach good behaviour
Assertive discipline is the principle behind our Behaviour Policy. All children are aware of our school rules and our expectations of them through our ABC Charter:

Our ABC charter are like rules. We have rules so:
- we know how to conduct ourselves in school
- to keep us safe
- to make our school a happy place to be
- to prepare us for adult life – we have rules to keep us safe, our country has laws to keep us safe and consequences if we break those laws!
The school rules are reviewed annually with the children and parents/carers at the start of each new school year. Aspects of behaviour are frequently covered during:
- Assemblies and Acts of Worship
- P.S.H.E. time
- The meetings of the Wellbeing Council
Taking responsibility
The encouragement of good behaviour, self discipline and the care of our school and those in it, is a constant aspiration of those who work and learn at St. Botolph's. We encourage the children to be responsible for their own behaviour and attitude. It is their choice, and rewards and consequences will be given accordingly.
